Painted for the Violence Transformed events of 2013, this piece is an exploration of the experience and perception of violence/trauma. 

Violence never affects each individual in the same way, and our own experiences and broad external contexts can influence how we perceive that violence in the narrower, intimate context of ourselves. It also colors how we interact with survivors - how we believe the events have transformed their life and perspective, verses how it might actually have affected their life.
